Red Hot Chili Peppers's John Frusciante granted a restraining order against a woman

Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante August for the next two years stay order against a woman named Elizabeth Thomas is granted.

A judge on Wednesday (August 24) which states that by 2013 Thomas Frusciante and his wife should stay at least 100 yards away order is granted.

Frusciante left the group in 2009 and former player Josh Klinghoffer of Warpaint.

Thomas originally approached the guitarist with the intention of writing a screenplay about his life and after he declined, sent him a stream of long, aggressive emails, according to TMZ.

Frusciante wrote in the lawsuit:

I fear both for my safety and for my wife's safety. Given that my wife and I are musicians and often play at venues around the world, it is hard for us to avoid Ms. Thomas if she is free to continually show up to harass us.
