The veteran Californian band recently went top of the UK charts with their new album 'I'm With You', their first since 2006's 'Stadium Arcadium'.
Speaking to MTV about the show, they said: "We haven't played in Belfast in a long time, so we're really looking forward to performing at the 2011 MTV EMAs and seeing all our fans!"
